Terms of Service

P2P Publisher

Last updated: March 26, 2026 · Effective: March 26, 2026

⚠️Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using P2P Publisher. By connecting your TikTok account or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using P2P Publisher ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2Description of Service

P2P Publisher provides a platform for creators and businesses to upload, schedule, and publish video content to TikTok using TikTok's official Content Posting API v2.

2.1 API Scopes Used

  • video.publish: To publish videos directly to your TikTok profile
  • video.upload: To upload video files to TikTok's infrastructure
  • user.info.basic: To display your connected account information

2.2 Service Limitations

The Platform is subject to TikTok's API rate limits (up to 600 requests per minute per endpoint). We implement exponential backoff and retry logic to ensure reliable publishing. Service availability depends on TikTok's API uptime, which is outside our control.

3User Responsibilities and Content Policy

3.1 Compliance with TikTok Community Guidelines

By using our Platform to publish content to TikTok, you agree to comply with TikTok's Community Guidelines and TikTok's Developer Terms of Service.

3.2 Branded Content Disclosure (FTC Compliance)

You are legally required to disclose sponsored or branded content. Our platform includes a Branded Content Toggle specifically for this purpose. When you publish content that:

  • Promotes a brand, product, or service in exchange for compensation
  • Is part of a paid partnership or sponsorship
  • Includes gifted or discounted products provided by a brand

...you must enable the Branded Content Toggle before publishing. When enabled, the "Only Me" privacy option becomes unavailable, as branded content must be visible to at least your followers per TikTok's policy and FTC guidelines.

⚠️Failure to properly disclose branded content may violate FTC guidelines and TikTok's policies. P2P Publisher is not liable for your failure to make required disclosures.

3.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to use the Platform to publish:

  • Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
  • Spam, deceptive, or misleading content
  • Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights
  • Content containing malware or malicious code
  • Content violating TikTok's Community Guidelines

4Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, P2P PUBLISHER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of revenue or profits
  • Loss of data or content
  • Service interruptions due to TikTok API outages or changes
  • TikTok's rejection, removal, or restriction of published content
  • Changes to TikTok's API, terms, or platform policies
  • Copyright strikes or content takedowns on TikTok

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

5Account Termination

You may disconnect your TikTok account and stop using the Platform at any time by revoking access through TikTok's account settings or through our Platform interface.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or TikTok's policies, with or without prior notice.

6Governing Law & Contact
